Out of hibernation
Hi all
At what approx time of year do you first take your bike out after winter storage.
I know it may differ from location to location due to weather etc, but for example near me the roads are white with salt. I took my Cat out the other day just to run her as she has been sat for a few weeks and I could literally see the salt on my pipes and callipers. Never the less still enjoyed being out but had to rinse/dry her which took another hour or so.
I'm guessing after heavy rainfall which washes away salt, and when the temp gets warmer..... Probetly looking at March maybe?

Re: Out of hibernation
I start using mine from about late March onwards because it has been known to snow during that month. If there are a few days of warmer (less cold) weather earlier than that, I try to take advantage of them.

Re: Out of hibernation
I'm thinking April to squeeze another month of road tax into the beer fund instead.
