Alps into Slovenia
Hey everyone,
I've been on the road again over what is the German Father's Day long weekend from 25th-28th May. This time me and my MT-09 buddies decided to head a bit further east and into Slovenia.
It was a great tour as usual and I covered just over 1600km in those 4 days. Weather was great and the scenery spectacular. Especially the last hotel we stayed in at Malta (yes that's a place in Austria ) was breathtaking. Here's the website: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
I've got some photos here in the Album if you fancy a look: Google Photo Album
And these were the routes we took:
Motoplaner-Day1
Motoplaner-Day2
Motoplaner-Day3
Motoplaner-Day4
And here a couple of teaser-photos too

And as usual the open invitation for a tour still stands

Re: Alps into Slovenia
Looks like a great trip, lovely pics. Good to see some familiar faces, looks like most of the original group from DE and AT were there, just lacking the UK contingent

Re: Alps into Slovenia
What happened to all the sports bikes that was a must many years ago?
Hardly ever see them in group photos now, but some cracking places you visited on the trip Thomas. Is it local friends or an internet group of so many MT-09 owners? The alps back in 2013 is the last time I encountered snow on a tour. 2 years time and I'll be there again....... Hopefully

It's originally guys off the internet but turns out more than half of them are either local or within an hour's ride from here. So nice co-incidence there.
First met them all when I did that tour with Steve couple of years ago and since then we managed 2-3 smaller and bigger tours every year.
