Re: My Cat is Home
That's a serious strip down, I've had mine in bits many times for maintenance & cleaning but never as far as that, fair play.

The 125 rear looks sweet, going to be a cracking conversion I think.

Re: My Cat is Home
That's me only twigged to the new back end...
Looks nice, but wondering where all the gubbins from under the old seat will fit.
(A small case lithium battery would save a fair bit of space)

Re: My Cat is Home
I was actually having a look at that on sunday, origional battery is way to big for where I wanted it,most of the relays etc on the 125 are under the pillion seat(helps to have a 125 for reference)so may just need to modify loom a bit, hopefully get a couple of hrs in this weekendWooster wrote:That's me only twigged to the new back end...

Done a bit today but not much, mocked up the new bars so I can star to fabricate clock and headlamp mounts, also chopped a bit more off rear subframe where battery will go and mocked up a battery box to fit just need to find a battery that fits,if I cant I will have a look at Lithium Batteries as Wooster suggested

Re: My Cat is Home
Had another hr or so today, had a rethink on battery and with a bit of jiggleing and messing with angles managed to mock original battery up in position, its close to the rear shock but ive jumped about on it and doesn't touch anywhere, just got to make the lower stays for the seat frame, infill around where the front seat frame/original bike frame meet, chop off a few brackets I don't need then take it apart so I can weld it properly at work with our big welder
