Picked her up yesterday

Rosco's new steed for going to the 2017 TT 31677004023_8e6cbd8af7_z_d

AJP 250 Enduro - about a year old and 2000 miles and road legal.

Never been dropped or ridden in the wet is something that can't be said about this bike.

Ex MotoScotland bike so it been ridden a lot in the rain and been dropped a fair bit too.

Hoping to get some outings off-road before I go.

Cheers

It's quite handy that the ambulance station is just down the road from the bings. Laughing

I wanted to get one for a bit of fun but never done any off road riding. Maybe nearer the time you can give me some words of advice on what's best for purpose. I'm hoping to have a go in the skegness beach race this year in November so will need some practice beforehand.

Looking good and the bike's not bad either Wink

Might be 40 year old advice, but I've always known with those things is to learn how to fall off, whereas I have always tried to stay on! A mate of mine in a farming region had a 175 enduro bike, let me have a go on it and he went on my 1000G shaft drive. went over the rocks, around trees and all sorts way quicker than I dared - I think I was more worried what he was doing to mine to concentrate on what I was doing.

Enjoy

Oh two pic's of the mate on his bike, some ideas for you to try Shocked

Good idea Ross, went to tt couple of years ago & there were a few people popping up in various great viewpoints on crossers. Going to the classic this year, in the car though unfortunately.

Beach race sounds a bit mental.

A few folks on here have done some off-road training. I think I've probably forgotten most of mine though.

MotoScotland (be Inveraray) is where I've done mine as well as a KTM try out day a few years ago with eddie990 and co.

Radar did one in Wales I believe.

Only insured for me Ian so Euan would have to walk.

I think I'll be quite unadventurous to start with and whilst I don't indend on falling off I'll try and do it with style when it happens.

Cheers
