cafe racer thundercat

Just found this for sale on Facebook ,Classic Bike Scrapyard finds page

Looks good (also familiar?), but I'm not sure about that swingarm, it doesn't look like there's enough meat left on it.

From the tank forward I don't mind it. The back end is all wrong for me. That style of seat and tail unit should be horizontal, although this would then not suit the tank and forward styling so is all wrong. And that swingarm looks like a piece of Meccano!

I admire that someone can make it and do a good job, but it only half floats my boat.

I know what you mens wooster, I have a feeling this has been on here before??
I'm not really a fan, looks too Skinny/empty

I seem to remember it too, I think it was in this thread, although the original image has long since expired....

I see they lined the holes in the swingarm.
If they're welded it might help retain the strength.

I like cafe-racers, but the Thundercat doesn't lend itself well to being the basis for one
