Im looking for down pipes

Does anybody have any downpipes for the tcat that are straight and not holy? mine are bent and dont attach to the manifold properly :(

I suspect most here will have switched to stainless pipes from the likes of Black Widow (formerly Sandy Bike Spares).

The original mild steel plated pipes rot from the inside, usually at the welded joints under the engine. So the chances of finding a decent secondhand set of those are minimal.

Aye, most of the originals are probably in bean cans and razor blades these days...not to mention making up a percentage of the dust found on UK roads.

Yeah iv noticed that when iv been searching. i will be getting stainless at some point but for now ill have to go for the cheapist option

I've got a used but sound set of OEM downpipes. I was keeping them because, well, just because but I have stainless ones on now so if this can help you out then I guess I don't need them. I'll do them for half the price of the eBay ones you saw, so £30 and they're yours (plus whatever shipping/postage/collection cost there is - they are not light nor small!).

If you want pictures before deciding I can sort that out.

This forum is by far the best forum iv ever been on this bike is starting to turn into the forums bike to.

Sounds like I've missed the boat here.

I have a set of headers in the garage off my 1998 that had done circa 8000 miles.
They have a small hole in them that I'm going to get welded and then stick on eBay but I'm open to offers if you or anyone else wants them.

Stainless steel ones are what I've got on now.
