New Hybrid
After 4 years ownership and sending my Cat up the road she has gone (my avatar pic) Got a decent price for her as well but after a couple of weeks realised that maybe I should have kept her and just made good the cosmetics. Mechanicals were great, brand new MOT with no advisories, R6 shock conversion, 2 up on rear sprocket, braided lines all round, and only 3500 on the rebuilt motor that I put in last year. But she's gone
Fear not as now (well last sat) I picked up another. Needs work like fork seals, chain guard, brackets and a little tidy up. The frame, engine, front and side fairings are from the Cat while the swing arm, forks, front and rear wheels are from a yzf750r and the rear subframe, tail and seat are from an R6. I think it looks great and definitely stands out from the rest. I have never seen a cat with a 190 rear tyre, well now I have one.
However the guy that owned it paid someone to put it together and he should have asked for his money back. It had wood screws holding some of the panels on. The brackets have been bent and butchered but I'm keeping this one so now it's my turn to ask for parts rather than touting my own.
Parts I require are.....
Front fairing bracket
Left and Right top side fairing brackets.
Left and Right middle side fairing brackets
If anyone has one the rubber chain guide that fits to the yzf750r swing arm.

Congratulations on the new bike, sounds like an interesting project.
Good luck with the parts search and getting her looking her best!

Re: New Hybrid
Cheers FatCat, I'll post a pic up soon, and plan on having it sorted physically at least ready to finally attend one of the meet ups.
No chance of that happening Lonterra, if it gets more than 35mpg then I'm not buying, besides which I don't have a car license.

Re: New Hybrid
These were taken at the services when we stopped after picking her up. Rode it 230 miles home. Ran like a dream.

Re: New Hybrid
If my orange and black cat was a B&Q bike then this has to be a Brum bike.
