Hello from Dorset
Hi all,
Based in Poole, Dorset, and hadnt ridden a bike for over 15 years until last weekend! Got myself a 98, almost totally standard T'cat having liked them from the day they were released.
Just been out for almost 3 hours this evening, finding my way around and building up confidence slowly but surely. My previous bike was a VFR400, and I have to say, the cat is much more suitable for me. Softer, more comfortable, more stable, more confidence inspiring, less hard work on the wrists and shoulders too!
Maybe see some of you around, stay safe.
Andy

Re: Hello from Dorset
Hi Andy, And Welcome aboard Grand to see you have found us
Welcome back also to the fold of biking. Tiz like a disease innit, once bitten and infected, yer hooked fer life
The Cat is an extremely good choice to return to biking with. As you have found, very comfy, very forgiving and very frugal with the juice to boot
Short notice I know, but if you're up for a meet there is the BC meet up this very weekend (10th to 12th June) link , I'm sure they'd all be delighted to see you there for the ride on Saturday if you have the time.
Failing that, there are a further two meet ups in July. One in and around the Cotswolds of Oxon between 15th & 17th and the Second a little further afield in Scotland (Big Mac), . . Either of which you could day trip or go all in for the weekend and join the fun
In the meantime, have a right good snoop around the whole site and all its forums. Hope you get to enjoy your stay with us
Cheers
