Re: Oh FFS - Car vs Lorry
Why is he blocking the middle lane and moving slower than a lorry, on a motorway (forcing the lorry driver into the outside lane, illegally, to overtake)?
The lorry driver is an ass, but the car driver was being a bit of a tit himself.
It's also some pretty good publicity for his dash cam business...which I'm sure is unrelated to aggravating lorry drivers at night.

what a pussy!
A, Get the f out of the middle lane. I hope he gets fined for hogging the middle lane
B, "deliberately and repeatedly rammed" and the mark was a scratch on the rear quarter.. again. pussy

Re: Oh FFS - Car vs Lorry
Let's assess some of the presented evidence.
Firstly, middle lane hogging. He claims he was "about to return to the left hand lane" when the truck started intimidating him. Actually, this is fair enough because you can see from the rear-facing camera that he had just passed another truck in lane 1.
Next, he runs a dashcam company. Self-serving PR much...?
Taken to hospital complaining of whiplash symptoms. Really??!
Summary: self-important former special policeman seeks public attention for how a dashcam (which he can sell to you) can be used as evidence of road rage. Incompetent, possibly negligent truck driver provides the action.

Nobody is "forcing" the truck into lane 3. He is perfectly capable of easing off the throttle and waiting behind the car. Truckie has taken it upon himself to police the middle lane and use his truck as an enforcing weapon. I doubt he'll be driving HGVs again any time soon.Wooster wrote:Why is he blocking the middle lane and moving slower than a lorry, on a motorway (forcing the lorry driver into the outside lane, illegally, to overtake)?

I hope I'm lucky enough not to encounter either of these idiots on the M1 or any other road!

The full video is here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
In it, it seems very clear that he was baiting the HGV driver.
In the first few minutes you can see he's deliberately blocking the middle lane, then accelerates to hold the HGV driver out in the fast lane (@ 40s he suddenly puts the foot down and sits in the HGV's near side blind spot).
I think Weasley summed it up perfectly.

Re: Oh FFS - Car vs Lorry
A pair of idiots who both need investigating fully. Send ALL the film to the police.
HGV driver frustrated and daft, but what has happened in the previous miles before the clip.
Driver - typical middle lane hogger the bain of every motorway!!!!

Re: Oh FFS - Car vs Lorry
from the start of the vid you see a lorry over taking another lorry. his flashing appears from first look to be aimed at getting the guy out of the way so he can complete the over take.
he is going so slowly that the lorry in the left lane is actually catching up.
he needs a swift kick to the nuts.
anybody found his camera company yet? i want to spam the shit out of it
