Now then, now then... howz about that then!
Hello everyone.
I'm Joey from Liverpool. Bought my cat in April and joined this some time after but have never gotten round to posting.
Then the other night I was at the regular Wednesday night Hen & Chickens meet in Melling and bumped into a guy called Richie who owned a Thunderace. He said he was on a forum and I think it might be this one so I thought I'd post to say hello.
Anyway - my bike's a 2005 Yankee model and I was lucky enough to pick it up with just 1,400 (yes one thousand four hundred!) miles on the clock so it's an absolute minter! The previous owner, a young lady from Northwich, had it from new and it was a bit quick for her. I had to do the decent thing and give it a new home.
I wasn't really looking for a Cat, but I do like Yammys after having owned a mint FZX750 (2000 Jap import) for a few years. I wasn't sure what to expect from the YZF600R but I have to say that I've been pleasantly surprised by its versatility.
Anyway - that's about it from me. Hope I can contribute some decent posts and that I can ask for help when I need it.
Cheers guys
Joey

Hi Joey,
Welcome to the site!
Sounds like you've got a cracking example of a Thundercat. Post up a pic if you can.
I hope you find the site useful and entertaining! It makes me laugh and cry in equal measure
Join us for one of the rideouts - it's the best way to meet up with others from here.
Enjoy the 'cat,
Cheers,
Chris
