Re: satnav mobile holder
Looks quite simple but how often does that turn in to a pain in the arse job. Looks pretty good quality though. I've been considering one of these so I can have a digital speedo.

Re: satnav mobile holder
I have something similar - yes it was straightforward.
Although I think that's the wrong fork stem diameter - mine was a 15-17mm part.

Re: satnav mobile holder
I used one of these to replace the existing top yoke nut and leave access to the hollow tube to fit the Sat Nav mount.
Also - make sure you've read the edit in my post above - the holder you linked to is the wrong diameter to fit in the cat's top yoke.

Re: satnav mobile holder
To fit - you just need a top yoke nut with a hole in the centre like this one.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
then you need a RAM mount that is slightly smaller than the internal diameter of the yoke tube. It's in two halves that are cut at an angle so when they two halves are pulled together they splay apart and 'jam' in the inside of the fork stem. For the Thundercat the size that I got was 15-17mm.

Just loosen this off and then pop it into the fork stem tube and tighten up the allen bolt with a suitable key/bit.

The just fit the case and tighten it up - ready to go. 2 minute job.

Re: satnav mobile holder
I used one of these - the do others with different case sizes with 15-17mm mounts if you have a different phone/satnav.
