Just a quick heads up folks been reliably informed, get your base layers, Kevlar jeans, boots etc, no details yet on what's on sale but there's usually a few good buys to be had.

Same here Paul, problem is I don't need anything, I hate missing out on a bargain but bought balaclava and base layers I didn't need last time!!

Ahhh the joys of impulse buying... I don't need anything in particular either, but it's just nice to get cheap gear that I don't have to travel all the way to Birmingham for the NEC for!

I'm on the lookout for some new leathers next but won't be getting them from lidl!!

Great I've been waiting for this to come back around. I buy my kevlar jeans from there. Only 30 quid a pair, ok they're not the best in the world but perfect for short trips and slightly safer than the normal ones I used to wear.

Mrs got my Kevlar palmed gloves from Lidl think she paid about £15 for them.

Just seen the update on lidl's app on what's on offer

ALDI are due for there's soon aswell according to there website. Asked the manager at my local one last week and he said not in the next 4 weeks.

There doesn't appear to be a massive selection this year!

I noticed that when it appeared on the app the other day, as others have said Aldi have one coming up soon as well. I read somewhere Aldi are rumoured to be doing a full time range at some point.

The Lidl Bluetooth headsets look like a good bit of kit for the money. I'd be interested if I'd not bought one last year

I was thinking same thing about blue tooth headsets. 26quid is even cheaper than the chinese ones on ebay. I wouldn't think they'd be any better though haha im just gutted as i was hoping theyd have the kevlar jeans in but they dont appear to be coming. I cant remember if i last biught them from lidl or aldi?

My last were from Aldi, bought two pairs then got another pair of oxford ones free when I subscribed to MCN so got three pairs and I hardly wear em. Might put a pair up on here for sale, brand new with tags and all that!!

That socket set would be good to keep with the bike, unless you have a modern bike with no storage that is.

Also, I can thoroughly vouch for the salopettes they sell when they do ski gear, I bought a set a couple years ago for walking the dogs and since getting some bike jeans I now commute to work in my bike jeans with the salopettes over them, and I have been doing all over winter and not got wet or cold yet

I love mine, wear um for work everyday, along with my short spada boots.s cant even tell I'm in bike gear. Great for convenience but not for the looks ya get from other leather clad riders that think your a squid riding a sportsbike in jeans haha

Not had one myself and as long as they've got all the CE certs I wouldn't see an issue, though comfort and wind noise could be a problem
