I think that I have been a bad influence again...

My old my mate Geeg has not had a bike since selling his Honda CB650 over twenty years ago. Recently he had a sit on my Thundercat and the desire for another bike was re-kindled!

Today I went with him to check over a 1998 Thundercat over at Stealth Motorcycles in Redditch....well he bought it.

That's a tidy looking bike.

There are spaces still available at wee mac if he wants to come along.

I do like Cats in the red/black/white colours. I had a twenty year layoff from bikes, it's a long time out of the saddle, take it easy mate.

Have you directed him to the site?

I will be sending him a link t the forum, has heard me on about it in any case.

I have advised him to have a days refresher course or similar and he will build himself up again slowly.

Above all, he got one in the fastest colours....

Once its in your blood it stays there. No matter how long you are off a bike your always drawn back.... good luck. Take it easy. At your own pace. Always ride with a smile.

I have given Geeg (short for Graham rather than Greg) the link to the site and hopefully he will be joining in person soon. He is a very excited chap and has been up to Bikers World today to source more riding kit etc

Clean looking bike, seems standard. I had a 23 year lay-off (Suzuki X5, CB200) and still here to put in an odd post.

Sure he'll be grinning like a Cheshire Cat once he gets on it.
