Unluckier than Alf???
I think i may be taking Alf's title..
First of all the missus went out to her car, that wouldn't start so she took mine..
After about 3 hours she returned minus the car and with the baby in the pram..
She got about 3 miles away and broke down...forgot her phone of course so had to walk home.
Called the AA and midway through the call the guy says" sorry sir i have to put the phone down as there is a fire alarm going off in the building"...Called back an hour later, AA man eventually came out, couldn't get my car going so it's still sitting in the Garage who are struggling to find out what is wrong with it.
Seeing as i'm carless at the moment i decided to get the Ducati on the road asap.
Took it out today after great hassle getting a number plate made...another story!!
Got home and noticed a drip drip coming from the fairing..Took off fairing and the oil cooler is pissing out oil..looked at the back wheel and it was covered in oil...
BUT as they say every cloud......
1. Didnt have an off due to rear tyre being lubricated with engine oil
2. Ducati have a recall out on oil coolers on the 999 which aparently were made by KTM so should get it replaced for free.
Nightmare having Bike and Car off the road at same time..
