sold2 Frankensteen's for sale

Post  thunderstu600 Mon Mar 24 2014, 09:59

After much deliberating I've finally decided to sell Frankensteen.

She's available on fleebay - listing number (161257396914) or if you'd prefer the ad link http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161257396914?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

I didn't want to sell but as you know I've bought a new bike a few months back as she needs a bit of work and I really haven't got the time or expertise to sort her out. I've had my fun with her and learnt a few things. OK I've learnt a lot with her.  Very Happy

I can and can't have two bikes if you know what I mean. Better to let someone else make use out of her than sit there wanting to be ridden.

On an upside I'll be sticking with the yamaha brand and keeping the argh6 Very Happy. My plan is to get a classic '73 bug (I've seen one and negotiating a price) and at £87 a year fully comp and tax free, with no real work needed it should be a  ok Very Happy

peace

A good no nonsense ebay ad.

Shame she has to go, but as you said "better to let someone else have the use".

Good luck with the sale, I'll bet you get a good price for her.

Please do not be a stranger here on the forum, many more have moved on from the Cat and are still enjoying the meets, rides, and craic here in the threads  Thumb

Cheers

Thanks Tel.
Hopefully will get a good price, wasn't sure if I'd set the bar too low or too high with no mot or tax but hey I paid more without both lol.
As for leaving I have no plans for that. I'm booked in for Bc and can't wait to meet up with everyone.

Hah and as for the ad lol, I hate reading life stories about how wonderful the vehicle has been. If I'd have put about how much time and effort I've put into her I could have brought out a novel hehe.

The money from the sale will go towards the 73 beetle so only on for a few days.
