First topic message reminder :

.....I've almost convinced myself.....wonder if her indoors will notice the swap? It's still a KTM after all. And it's a bargain, surely Katie will understands that. There may be trouble ahead.....

I think you're just trying to copy my bike Chris Wink

I might get Euan to do my wheels in orange but then I'd need to keep cleaning then.

Chris - either looks excellent, very envious, liking Rosco's wheels suggestion though!

Aye, why not. It'll match the rusty orange bits Laughing

FFS, don't clean it! I reckon it's the muck holding it together!

Not into matching leathers at all, unless you're a pro racer I think there's no need. Like football strips on a grown man who is neither playing or watching football.....

The deal has been sealed and deposit placed!

Now for the logistical nightmare of getting the SMT from Scalloway to Richmond then on to Bristol and the RC8R back to Richmond begins.

You can borrow my Thundercat and stick it on the rack, like you did with the tyres! Or you could hire a van!

Thanks for the offer Tony! I've looked at van hire, there is only really one company up here and they charge through the nose because they can. Add on the ferry/freight cost and it gets expensive.

Been looking at courier companies too, not that expensive to/from Aberdeen but once you start talking about sea transport to Lerwick the price goes through the roof.

Think I'm going to have to push it onto the ferry here, fly down to Aberdeen and meet it at the other side with a much cheaper van. A pain in the balls to organise but it'll get the job done!
