Re: TomCom fairing project on the way
I haven't done it mate, you'd need to ask Thundersto600 or someone who has.
Re: TomCom fairing project on the way
I used the holes at the back of the small section to clamp them all together. It isn't massively obvious but not as good as OEM.

Re: TomCom fairing project on the way
You need to put 2 fixings through the holes at the back. That'll help pull it together.

Re: TomCom fairing project on the way
Can't remember exactly how I did it. Think there's 2 tabs which need holes drilling into. Then normal fixings from the packs from eBay (drawn a blank and can't remember their official name!!)

Re: TomCom fairing project on the way
I'm in my Jammies I'm afraid. But if you look at your picture, the second one, next to where is says Yamaha between the gaps, you can just about see a black tab. You need to drill holes in these to line up with the holes on either tail piece. Then bolt them together. Squeeze everything together while you mark it/drill it.

Re: TomCom fairing project on the way
I didn't drill anything. I used the clips you can screw into...they're used all over the fainring especially on the v section at the front (sorry, don't know what they're called). Hold together the rear faring tight and screw up. Once the screw is tight the rear section shoudn't move. Hope this helps too. Ooh and Happy New Year
