With huge sadness I am selling my Thundercat YZF600R
Hi
It is with huge regret that I am selling my Thundercat YZF 600 R
She is in absolute mint condition, only 1320 on the clock, the best colour in my opinion, blue and white and has just had a years MOT and a new battery fitted this week.
I passed my test 5 years ago, bought this beauty but sadly only managed to get out on her half a dozen times.
She has been garaged for all of the time
I had her lowered on the suspension bar because I am only short 5'4" so she would be perfect for another female or a small male. Obviously the suspension can be lifted again but I never got the bar back so another one would need to be sourced.
She is in effect a brand new Thundercat at 1320 miles she is not even run in. The bodywork is perfect and she gleams
Crash bobbins have been fitted to.
I have photos and I would welcome anyone who wishes to view her, subject to a mutually convenient time. My contact number is 0779 6006172
The price I am looking for is negotiable, but I don't want any silly bids.. She is probably the lowest mileage Thundercat in the country and you would be buying an almost new bike.
I have no idea how to put photos on here ...can anyone help?
Thanks

Shame you have to sell what sounds to be such a nice bike.
Now you have found this forum & group, would that not be incentive enough to get out a bit more on your bike ? There are forum members close to your location that I'm sure would be happy to accompany you on an outing or two.
As said, Shame you have to sell, . . . But good luck with the sale.

As Tel says, what a shame you haven't managed to gain the full enjoyment of such a wonderful bike.
We really like pics on here so would be good to see what a great bike it is.
I'm in Chezzy and would welcome a rideout out if you're stuck.
We have some great organised rideouts and this is an excellent forum for bikers.
Make yourself at home & enjoy your time here.
Ellie.

Echo what others are saying, it's such a shame to let what sounds like an almost new condition low mileage bike go, I'm sure you're aware it'll never realise the true value of the bike as it is after all a 10 yr old plus bike.
At the end of the day though if she has to go she has to go and I wish you every success with the sale. Like Ellie said though consider keeping her, Ellie is in Chez Vegas and a few of us aren't many more miles away and we are of the "any excuse for a ride out" ilk.
Get some pics up so we can see the beast (beauty)!!
Cheers
Steve

Re: With huge sadness I am selling my Thundercat YZF600R
Thanks everyone for your kind messages ...
There are other personal reasons why I have to sell my bike and not just because I don't get out on her .
I was hoping that she would go to someone who would love and care for her like I do ( I know silly soppy woman that I am ) and that's why I thought I would try selling her on here first
Steve, I realise I will not get what she is truly worth but was hoping to get around £ 2350 for her ... It's just cost me £150 for the new battery , service and mot so would like to recoup that if I can
If anyone knows anybody who is looking for a virtually brand new thundercat please please pass my number on .
I will give it a couple of days then she will have to go onto e bay if there is no I interest :-(
Still trying to suss how to put photos on here :-(

Re: With huge sadness I am selling my Thundercat YZF600R
good luck with the sale, im sorry you have to let her go. may I ask why you have not ridden much? not a moaning husband is it? tell him to piss off! I think 2350 is more than reasonable, I paid 2500 for mine with 7500 miles on in jan. its all depending whether there is anyone else out there that is prepared to pay that bit extra for an immaculate bike. id put bike on biketrader before ebay too.

Re: With huge sadness I am selling my Thundercat YZF600R
Thank you for the good luck wishes ... No not a moaning husband ... I lost my dad and my relationship within a week of each other and I lost the will to do anything ... As a result I lost my confidence to ride too .. Now my best friend of 34 years and who now lives in Australia has cancer and I need to get out there to see her whilst I have chance ... The bike sale will fund the trip .. I would have kept her if I had the funds to go and then would have had some refresher lessons to get my confidence back

Re: With huge sadness I am selling my Thundercat YZF600R
sorry for your loss, its understandable you lost your confidence. I really hope you get the money to go see your friend one way or another. when you get home though id really think about getting back on two wheels. like you've discovered, the people on this forum alone are so friendly and im now lucky enough to have met a few and consider them real friends too. again Julie good luck and best wishes for the future.
