Re: Tintern Abbey
I would have, but now I've committed to going to TRL at Crowthorne to help with one of their trials.
Never been before, so It'll be interesting to see what goes on there. Pays £30 plus refreshments - very generous for a morning's work!

Re: Tintern Abbey
Nah I didn't go after, ended up going to the local bikers cafe for breakky, got chatting to 2 guys and rode out with them into Swansea via A48 instead of the M4.
Ended up at MandP. (MandP direct)
They had a 10+20% off weekend with stalls outside, a live band and a mini stunt show.
Hundreds of bikes parked outside, never seen so many in one place.
I took my boy there yesterday as well so he could witness it too lol

Re: Tintern Abbey
having had the week off with glorious sunshine i've done around 700 miles this week , either riding on my own (most of the time), tagging along with other bikers with pillion or out an about with the local riding school (after hours though),
I didn't want to do Tintern on my own, it would've been really boring and I would probably have killed myself lol.
saying that though, I've had an amazing time on the bike this week and finally getting lower (almost knee down I think), with all these roundabouts down this way it's impossible not to try, just got to practice left turns now lol
Tintern Abbey via Breacon may be on the cards next week if I don't go to the West Wales Motorcycle Show

Done a few of those, they're all of 2 miles up the road from me. What were they playing with this time?bobh wrote:I would have, but now I've committed to going to TRL at Crowthorne to help with one of their trials.

Some new style of cycle lane that's apparently used on the Continent. Must say I wasn't very impressed.OhJay wrote:Done a few of those, they're all of 2 miles up the road from me. I think at the moment the main projects are related to cycling. They are looking for people for a junction trial on the 20th, 21st and 22nd - car drivers all three days, motorcycles only on the last day:
