how to inflate front tyre? 2 disc ?
I have been unable to inflate the front tyres properly, as there are 2 discs. The inflator machines at the petrol stations doesnt seem to fit, i dont really want to bend the valve to inflate it. What do you guys do to inflate the front tyres

I manage to use the free air machine at sainsburys no problem, failing that I use a foot pump and air pressure gauge at home, just need to have a play around to get things to fit tis all

Easiest (though not entirely necessary) to keep the valve at the bottom. After that it's just a bit of trial and error to get the correct angle.

I got these, a couple of quid of ebay!
+1, keep it under the seat so it's there if I need it when out and about.
At home I have a wee compressor which fits fine

I just bend it (the valve at '4 o'clock' works for me).
Some tyre places will fit a right angle valve (for an extra fiver or so).

That would be useful on a long journey

I get the valve to about 7 o'clock it you look from the drivers side, then go in with a hose from the front, between the disks, only have to bend the valve a little if at all to get the adapter on

Track pump (fiver at Lidl when they're doing the pedal bike stuff) and Halfords digital gauge - don't trust garage gauges to be accurate enough.

I don't get stressed over a few psi either way, I'm not competing in the MotoGP.

You obviously don't use Pirelli's, then?

Got a little 12V compressor at home with a flexible hose and it screws onto the valve.
I usually over inflate by about 1psi to allow for unscrewing the wretched thing afterwards though

Thanks guys, i know it was a basic question but had to be done, managed to get the one at TOTAL petrol station inside the 2 discs to inflate the tires.
The right angle adapter is a superb idea, might need to invest in them

ttboy, I brought a right angled adaptor and use that when out and about. Have got a small air compressor with a flexible hose for use at home too and that was only cheap from Amazon. Well worth it I think.
