Just come back from a ride-out with my (work) mate and decided we would ride each others Steeds, his being a 98 ZX6R (there's a photo in the gallery from 2011).
He had never rode the Cat before and when we stopped for some liquid obviously we did a bit of comparing. With his I complemented on the smooth gearbox and the mirrors.
With the Cat he liked the all-round tightness of the bike, the brakes, comfort, quickness of gear change, noise from that nice can I purchased on here and above all he couldn't believe how responsive the bike is and as I rode his Ninja I know what he means.
On the Cat in fourth it will just shoot up the dials but his seems to have a slight lagging waiting for the power to be delivered.
Not a technical assessment of course but someone seems to be impressed by this little beauty, I'm glad that after 23 years away I decided to fall for her charms.
