For Sale: Red 99T Thundercat, 35k miles - Swindon, Wilts

With great sadness I'm going to have to let my bike go. I'm buying a new car and unfortunately I can't afford to keep that AND the bike, especially as I don't ride the bike as much as I'd like to.



All the important details:

1999 T plate (US spec - imported by DK Motors)
35k miles, two owners including me
Kept garaged for the last couple of years
Solid red (the best colour, natch)
Brand new stainless downpipes, new batttery and headrace bearings at last MOT
Completely factory standard except for R&G crash bungs
Make me laugh and I'll chuck in a Haynes manual with it too

I'm looking for £1,300 or a reasonable offer.

Absolutely not, although this is (for me, at least) a really nice car. Out of my budget hence having to shift the bike... But at least we now know that at least one BMW driver on the roads of Wiltshire isn't a complete bellend!

Cheeky thread bump - eighteen months later and I couldn't bring myself to throw the old girl to the fleabay wolves, but I really should let it go to a good home and to an owner who'll actually ride it.

I'd go down to a grand for a quick sale.
