Cheers guys,
Yeah its Steve. I'd love to join you, if the snow is away by then lol. First priority though is to get my swingarm painted, so will get the frame done at the same time.

Don't count on the snow being away.... I seem to remember some very snowy bikes on one of the Wee Mac mornings last year! If you decide it's a go-er, give Rosco a shout to let him know you're gonna be coming along, he'll give you all the details you need.

Re: Hi all. Newbie from Edinburgh
Hi & Welcome Steve.
Good luck with the planned work/maintenance.
I've still got a bit of that to do myself :(
As others has said we have our first big run of the season in April.
Finger crossed this snow has disappeared by then.
You're welcome to come along. See
I'd bring your gas mask along if I were you in case you have to sit next to depth charge Terry at any of the stops.
Cheers
Rosco

Re: Hi all. Newbie from Edinburgh
Hi All, thanks for the welcome.
Does anyone know of any quick paint fixes for my swing arm. I havent got time to take it off but want to get it looking respectable and protected for the weekend (want to take it out for a blast)

Re: Hi all. Newbie from Edinburgh
ran mine for over a year with a swing arm that looked worse than yours, so one weekend wont make any difference, get out and enjoy

Re: Hi all. Newbie from Edinburgh
Hi Steve, Welcome to the site.
Sounds like you're enjoying the bike. Don't worry about the swing arm until you can do a proper job. No need to be too precious about the appearance of the bike - there's not a lot of competition nearby! (ouch!)
Hope you can make the WeeMac. As you can see we ride in all weather's. And Scotland usually delivers! And if you enjoy the ride out there are others planned for later in the year.
See you in the snow
Chris
