well the cat maybe a highly unrated bike but apparently the most likely to be pinched!

Re: theifing barsta.....
Not sure if we can be 'pleased' we have a very desirable bike
Think that stat along with a high risk postcode is the reason my insurance is so high. There's an Aprilia and Honda 125 near mine in my complex, making me nervous now.

Re: theifing barsta.....
I would have thought the area/postcode plays a big factor in it all, though saying that a cat identical to mine got pinched from a house round the corner from mine about 3 weeks before I got mine, though this bloke left his out on the road with no steering lock on and not disc lock or chain or anything so was kinda asking for it sadly.
Maybe you should get a DT125R steve...

Like the thieves, not sure I'd like one, but there's a thought..
Didn't notice straight away, wonder what a YSF 600R Thundercat is?

Re: theifing barsta.....
I did make a comment on that asking if it was related to our bikes, maybe its a Chinese import version...

Re: theifing barsta.....
I think you'll find most motorbikes stolen in the UK are older ones that are stripped for parts and resold on places like eBay, they can fetch 3-4 times the value of a complete bike, some older bikes like thundercats have a cult following and new parts are expensive so the thieves have a ready made market, think on next time you're picking up parts off eBay, where exactly did the parts come from?
Newer bikes are more than likely stolen to order and shipped abroad in a lot of cases.
Then again most of the opportunist thefts committed by the local scroat joyriders are due to things like no security, steering lock, disc lock, chain etc

You gotta love stat's
that DT125 was on the hit list in 2010 and then bottom in 2011. Maybe that Aprilia would be more desirable than mine after all
