Hi Chris, welcome.
If you haven't already, have a look at 'Something for the weekend', the home of our various ride-outs.

Hi Chris,
Welcome to the site. There are a few of us in E Yorks/N Lincs. Add yourself to the Location Map
The socials start when the weather improves - that'll be August then!
Actually there are a few regular meets and members will post up if they want to arrange a local get together.
Hope to catch up with you sometime this year.

Hi Chris and welcome.
As greencat said, stick your location on the map. Willingham woods or seaways are good places to meet depending which direction you coming from.
Too cold for you. Well have to harden you up. See Rosco about Wee Mac in April. There was a little snow on the ground on the last day of the 2012 trip up north!
and its not just me.
Cheers Rich.

In their early days, they tried to get us to amalgamate with them offering Admins here moderator slots there . . . was our collective reply if I recall correctly

Re: Hello, new member just saying hi
Bikers oracle that's the one, there's one for every bike, I checked out the fireblade one as well and that's just as bad.
Apologies if I offend anyone but when you come on here you ask a question you generally get and answer or at least pointed in the right direction. I joined them before I found this one on a recommendation from a friend, posted an intro and then a general question, I think to this day I still haven't had a reply and that was 17 months ago!!
I'm on a Blade forum now but this is still my favourite, pop in every day and I know there's always something going on, be it a newbie intro, someone with a problem or general banter. Best place to be, Tcat owner or ex

Re: Hello, new member just saying hi
Did you then log in using the address and password that's revealed when you click on the word "SPOILER" ?
If you do that and follow the destructions you shouldn't have any probs . .
Try opening the map in another tab or window, . . that way you will have access to both the map & destructions at the same time.

Re: Hello, new member just saying hi
Welcome to the forum. The rideouts on here are generally awesome, I have done Bishops Castle and the WeeMac, both superb. I keep missing the others, but they are cracking days/weekends out too. Very good bunch on here!
Enjoy the cat and take it steady in first real summer!

Re: Hello, new member just saying hi
I joined Bikers Oracle years ago as did a few I think, they were always fine with me but certainly wasn't a patch on this one.
Welcome aboard young man, whereabouts in East Yorkshire are you? A particular favourite road of a few forum members is in East Yorkshire. (But I can't quite think what it's called off the top of my head!)
Great choice of bike, hope you get to join us on some rideouts soon.
Oh and we like pictures on here (of your thundercat preferably )
Ellie

Re: Hello, new member just saying hi
There's a forum rideout I think somewhere around August time that sets off from Beverley, think its Taste Of Linconshire but don't quote me on that my geography is crap. I did Bishops Castle and Lakes & Dales last year, both fantastic weekends with a great bunch of people.
As a new rider they are a brilliant bunch of people who will take you under their wing, give you stacks of advice and most importantly allow you to enjoy the rideout without pressure to do anything out of your comfort zone, everything is at your own speed and you will learn a lot just from riding with the bunch.
Plus there's usually a few laughs and some socialising after.
All in all great weekends away!!
