Re: Wheely bad?
Ahh, been reading about this eeejit on another forum.
I'm not saying don't do them, I'm not saying do them, just be aware that no matter how much you do them it can still go wrong.
This is my offering from years ago on a private road

HOWEVER, I don't know if anyone remembers ToL in 2007 (I think), a rideout I actually made. Me, a mate on a black SV and Topdec from the old forum turned up as part of our little tour of Britain and one of Topdec's mate's met up with us for the ride on a blue ninja.
This guy was popping wheelies all day, and as far as I know since he first got on a bike he quickly got the hang of wheelies and was good at them, he was a wheelie king and very well practiced at it too.
We we going along some really straight road with dips in it, he pop's a wheelie, his hand slips putting the throttle on more than needed, I was about 3 or 4 bikes back and the bike shoots upright, the tail and the exhaust make contact with the road, he either drops the thottle or found the rear brake and the front crashed down and he veered off to the right. Bike was fooked, it slid alond the road and spun at the same timewhich wore a hole in one of the covers and dropped the oil all over the road.
The worst bit for him was that he was due to fly out with his missus the next morning to the carribean or something, told her he hit a brick in the road...
Anyone recognise the handsome local fella that waited with us for the recovery truck?

I'm the one in the high vis, I'm not sure the owner REALLY appreciated us defiling his lovely bike considering what he'd just been through
And just for posterity, one off the back of the recovery truck.

I'm not sure, I only met him once or twice myself, he was Topdec's mate.
