My New Bike - Simply Stunning
Following my recent accident, which has been well documented in another thread, I can now reveal my new bike, purchased this week, all thanks to my fantastic partner.
Here it is, a 2006 MV Agusta F4 1000 with just 4200 miles on the clock.
mv 1
mv 2
Hope the pictures do the bike justice. It really is as close as you can get to sex on wheels.
More to follow.

Re: My New Bike - Simply Stunning
Ahhh Tony !
Nice bike but hopefully not to extreme for your body. A bike for just you or a two up, now and then bike?
Must of been in someone's living room for a few years with having so few miles on the clock. Loud is she?
Be seeing it at BC next year then shall we? Take it steady with all that power, not a blade now ya know.
But good to see you've got good taste at last in bikes. Nowt wrong with a bit of bling. Just like DBD and his 1199.
Rob.

Stunning. I just love bikes that are a little different from what everyone else has.
Ride safe & enjoy! Hope to see you at BC again next year.

Thanks Stretchie. It is a fantastic Range Rover. Not so sure about the fuel consumption though.

Re: My New Bike - Simply Stunning
Guessing it's a V8, so about 12mpg?
I want one. I'd love a late P38 but these L322's are growing on me, I know the old saying is "To be a proper petrol head you must have owned an Alfa at some point in your life."
I say PAH and piffle to that, "To be a proper petrolhead, you must have owned a bike and a V8 (or larger) in your life, but if you can combine the two......"
I'm still working on the V8 part, but I've tried compensating with the amount of bikes I've had ; )
Oh, and yet again, that is a STOOOONKIN' bike

Re: My New Bike - Simply Stunning
Yep, its the 4.4 V8 and is truly a monster. Lovely to drive.
We have it converted to run on LPG which is currently about 68p a litre. It does about 18 mpg, so when on LPG, with the price, it translates to about 30mpg.
Getting frustrated with the weather, can't take the bike out. Hopefully tomorrow night.

I'm lucky enough to say I have over the years ticked all of the above. Just need to go for the V12 now!!!

Re: My New Bike - Simply Stunning
Got out on the bike last night. OMG
I thought the Blade went and handled well. It isn't a patch on the MV.
I only managed about 50 miles before the collarbone started aching but that was enough to convince me that it is a stonking bike.
It handles so well, just falls into corners, the power is just amazing and the noise .............. awesome.
I had the biggest smile on my face when I got back and I'm still smiling now.
Downside, I didn't sleep too well, ribs were giving me some jip but they are getting better.
I love it.
