Do I really want a cruiser?
I'm may be getting old, or maybe its something to do with me spending the last 2 weeks in the states, but I'm finding myself wanting to buy a cruiser of some type.
I know absolutely nothing about this genre of bikes so i'm open to suggestions of make model etc especially anyone with experience!
I have had a play on a 2007 Triumph Rocket3 and a Victory and i must say i loved the Triumph.
I have around 5-6K to play with and i'm in no great rush.
Needless to say I will be keeping the cat for my daily commute.

Re: Do I really want a cruiser?
OK OK I was waiting for the leather tassle/assless chaps/handlebar moustache jokes..and fair enough maybe I deserve them. No pisspot lid though seen too many horific pics of open face helmet accidents.
Radar- i will still be keeping the cat and the can always use the Mrs's CBR if I feel the urge.
Just noticed a blue sky outside so I'm off down Blades Triumph for a looksee.

Re: Do I really want a cruiser?
Cruisers aren't really my cup of tea.....far too much cleaning involved.
But hey. Each to their own.
Fill your boots.......or your chaps even.
Glad you're keeping the cat though. You know it makes sense.
Cheers

Steve, seriously mate. If you fancy one go get one. Not my thing but you only live once. Is a vmax in the same bracket? I kinda like the look of them. Or go the whole hog and get a Harley.
Me Bein biased would buy a Diavel if I was into the assess chaps/pudding bowl lid thing.

Ellie that's exactly the image I was after..got any links to the website??
Dave I too would like a Diavel or indeed the very nice new Vmax but i'm afraid they are about 10k over my budget.
I think i'm deffo looking at a Rocket 111, there about the right money and I personally think they look V cool.
