I love it, wanted one since the first time I saw one and it hasn't disappointed me. Thing is when I went to see it I was overcome and didn't HPI it just handed over the cash. It worried me when I got home so did it when I got back and thank fook it was clear!

Not seen a proper shaped R1 for years, Fowlers in Bristol had two next to each other about 3 years ago.

Cheers all, no idea how good it is yet as hardly ridden it. BTW, no gates at my house, that's from the geezer I bought it off. He was only about 25 and had a biiiig 4 bedroom house.. brand new fireblade, a 12 plate R6 and a mint Bultaco sitting next to his Mrec.... Had a big comensation payout whilst off roading. Must have got a few quid...

Yes a very nice bike indeed.

Collectors items they are becoming and most sort after.
You should like the mid-range power of the engine. Bit stronger than my R1 around that area yours is, if the engine Is still in fine fettle. De-cat'ed mine now to help that area for me.

My 2000 model, I had was not quite upto spec with Its power for some reason. Serviced regular with good oil but it lacked power against my mates 1999 R1.

Keep it clean and polished and It won't loose you a penny over the next few years.

But good on ya, ya one of the gang now. Impressed!

Beautiful, always wanted one in those colours, or a silver/black 2002/3 model.

Keep it basically standard and you have a copper bottomed classic on your hands too
