Hello from Lulea, Sweden
Hello, Saw this forum on Google alerts. I live in Luleå in the north of sweden.
I have a red Thundercat 1999. It's been mine for two years. It has stood still for 5 years before I bought it and it is like new. The speedo reads 20000 km about 12500 miles.

Re: Hello from Lulea, Sweden
Might be worth checking the tyres after such a long time off the road, but looks a great example

Re: Hello from Lulea, Sweden
I got brand new tyres.
Michelin Pilot Road, front 120/60 and 170/60 rear.
Love my new tyres, the old ones were 13 years old, and quite hard.

Hi Kare
Welcome aboard.
Lovely looking bike you've got there.
How are the biking roads in Sweden?
Are the Volvo drivers biker friendly?
Cheers

Thanks Rosco.
The roads in Sweden are getting worse all the time.
But generally they are quite nice.
Every car driver, even Volvo drivers are nice. We don´t have problems with them, we leave them far behind,

Hi and welcome. Kåre.
Nice bike. I suppose that your limited to riding the bike due to the snow and cold. (Unless your very brave) How many months is the bike in cold storage for?
I managed to get right through this winter without missing at least 1 ride to work a week.

Hi Kare, Welcome.
Was wondering how you are getting in with the wider 170/60 you had fitted to the rear, any fitting problems or handling difference?
John.

Re: Hello from Lulea, Sweden
Thanks, I really feel welcome.
I will soon send some photos, I have a few (about 500) but promise not to send all of them.
Have a nice evening.
Kåre
In Luleå we have winter from october to april. We often start riding first of may. It's quite cold in early may, 3-5 degrees. You can say we ride from may to september.

No fitting problem, handling I think is great.
