New Gal From Oxfordshire Stopping By To Say Hi & Thank You!

Just passing through quickly to say hi and also thank you as you may have solved the issue I'm having with my poor Kitty I've had her now for 2 years and she's been a flipping brilliant bike and I totally love riding her to and from work every day.

She's got this horrible grinding feeling in the area of my feet and sounds a bit 'clunky' but only in 1st and 2nd when under load. So tomorrow I will be out in the garage investigating the possible causes. I'll let you know how I get on

where abouts in oxfordshire are you from? I am in banbury and keep seeing different cats around here, is one of them maybe yours?

I'm in Banbury too and chances are you've seen mine about. Here are my two babies Kitty is my poor 'workhorse' and is ridden all year round to and from work and my Blade is a summer ride only.

Thank you, I kinda like my bikes too. My Blade truly is my baby and I'm back riding her at the moment while the weather is good and also while I try and sort Kitty out. I've gotten so used to riding my 'Cat though that I'm trying to ride the Blade the same way. Needless to say it's not working and I need to get my Blade head back on. She is an absolute joy to ride though and I'm hoping for some good weather over the next few months. Fingers crossed she passes her MOT tomorrow, she should be ok but you never know

I've seen a few 'Cats round town. Ive seen a red one the same as mine and I think the same P reg, I know the girl who rides a blue and white one from my girls bike forum who lives in Banbury and I've also seen a yellow and white one recently. I ride past the Pepper Pot every day as we live near there and I go past on my way to and from work

ah coolies, I have a red black and white one, and my mate anna (nanabanana) on here has a black and silver one with red wheels.

Good to know theres a few cat owners in the area! if you fancy a ride out on the bikes sometime let me know

Thanks for the welcome everyone and yes Mapman I did research the fastest colour combo when I was looking for a bike to replace my BabyBlade It was the colour combo and the fact that she came up on Ebay for a very good price just as I sold my BabyBlade which decided it for me

Nooo, that's not a 954, that's a 900, it's an older carbed one, mid 90's I think.

MUCH nicer than the 954 and all the other Blade's that have come along since then in my opinion (the only nice injected one was the 929, but then I would say that, I've had two )

Hmmmm but didn't the 900 have the smaller front wheel? People used to put a VFR 750 front wheel on instead.

I heard the 954 was the most comfortable and powerful... but hey either way its still a very nice bike
