Welcome Adam ,

Good luck with the CBT and the continuation training. You'll not go far wrong with a Cat.

Hope you enjoy the forums, and feel you can take part and have fun wink thumb up

Cheers

Errm . . No , sorry . . . But many have asked for hints and tips before you.
I hate the standard answer of " use search " . . . but the info is all in here for you to see.
Mostly in the Workshop, but also in the lounge.

Most of the stuff to watch for is pretty standard what you'd look for in any used bike
The bigest (urban myth) is second gear on the cat. Search that in here using the search button and you'll get the full SP.

Tiz why I said the 2nd gear thingy is an urban myth . . . like the electrics always fail on Ducati's in the wet Rolling Eyes

Hi Adam and welcome, where you doing you're CBT, I'm from Manchester and did mine with Moto Technique, very knowledgeable and patient.

Echo others comments, tcat is a great first bike, I passed in November having already bought one and couldn't be happier. Other rider friends said I'd probably keep it 6 months tops but not a chance, just building a garage extension for it to live in (possibly with a friend in time Smile )
