Rob n Linz Baby sweepstake
First topic message reminder :
In for a penny - in for a pound.
But how many pounds and ounces.
I'll buy the person who gets the closest a pint at the next Rideout.
I'll start the ball rolling with a guess ofI
8lb 1oz
P.S. a little birdie tells me things are starting to move so get your guesses in quick.
Good luck Linz & Rob & bump. you guys qualify for a free drink anyway

Re: Rob n Linz Baby sweepstake
Congratulations! And what a dear little baby, some of them are really grim looking but he's gorgeous Nice name too
Hope you're ALL getting some sleep
On the subject of names, my daughter & her partner are trying for another baby, so they asked their kids what they thought were nice names. 5-year-old Marley suggested 'Snowbaby' & 'Lovely Rabbit'

Re: Rob n Linz Baby sweepstake
Hi all, just a quick update from me as me and Ewan had to go back into hospital yesterday as his jaundice was causing him to be too sleepy to eat so he lost a little bit too much weight but after 24 hours of 2 hourly feeds and another horrid night on a ward, we finally got to come home again to be with his daddy and relax in our own surroundings.
Thank you again for the lovely messages and we will post up some more pictures soon
Linz, Rob and baby Ewan Xx

Re: Rob n Linz Baby sweepstake
Sorry to hear you had to pop back, but glad you're now back home. Hope Daddy is playing his part and taking turns at the sleepless nights. Funnily, I don't miss that at all!
Post up more pics when you can. Hope you're feeling better too.
Cheers,
Chris

I'd say he's taken his good looks from his mothers side.
Hope things get back to normal Linz as he's got some growing to do if he's gonna catch up with his daddy.
If he does he'll overtake mum at age 10 I'd suspect.
More pics when you can please.
Cheers

Re: Rob n Linz Baby sweepstake
John, I am sure Ewan will have a picture with his daddy on the R1 in the not too distant future lol.
Chris, Rob is playing his part in the night time and the changing and feeding which is a relief to me as I have managed to sneak in a couple of naps while Ewan watches tv with his dad .
Rosco, things are much more settled today thanks and we didn't get up til 9.30 today and even then I had to wake Ewan up as the midwife was coming to weigh him again and thankfully he has put weight on again so from birth weight on Friday of 6lb 10 and a half, then being 5lb 12 on Monday, he is now back to 6lb 3 and a half which is great news.
We will sort some pics later today or tomorrow as we will be making the most of having Rob at home with us before he goes back to work on Friday.

Re: Rob n Linz Baby sweepstake
Belated Congratulations to you all. I would have guessed and won the weight comp at 6 lb 9.5 oz as that was they weight of my first daughter and a number I will never forget. Nae idea how much the second one was ....
The wee fella looks like a little cracker so well done to you both. If still a little jaundiced (sp) then that's nothing a little kip by the window won't sort out or a few trips outside in the pram, but I'm sure you know all about that by now

Re: Rob n Linz Baby sweepstake
Just to Clear it up.............
Euan, Ewen or most commonly Ewan is a male given name, most commonly heard throughout Scotland and Canada. It is a derivative of Eoghan (meaning "born of the yew (tree)") and is of Irish and Gaelic origin.[1] It is also, less commonly, a surname. Iuan, Ioan, Iwan and Iwen is the Welsh derivative. It is also associated loosely with the Scottish god of the glen. Owen is the predominant Welsh spelling of the name, but also Iwan and Iuan are also found, as in Cornish). Ouen can be considered the French or Breton spelling of the name.
Most commonly in the west of Scotland the Gaelic spoken is a mix of both Irish and Scots. Euan is of the Irish and Ewan the Scots so it makes no odds.
Still a fantastic Name and as long as the wee man is fit and healthy who cares..........
From one Euan to another Welcome to the World !!!!!
