OldCat
I met Mr OldCat and his missus at LIDL yesterday, What a nice guy (and his good lady). I got home with the flip front helmet, kidney belt, boots, trousers and balaclava.
I've only claimed the helmet to her indoors. (she was still in bed when I got home). I'll introduce stuff gradually and claim I've had it for ages. (she's sharp but i think i've got the edge).

Ah Bless, another in touch with his feminine side, you been talking to Sooty (who i seem to remember carts his around in the back of his car until he's ready to introduce it) ? Still, s'pose it could've been worse - you could've done an amos and just bought a bike without telling her.
Yet another benefit of not being married - i'll add it to my already lengthy list under sleeping like a starfish, taking ownership of the remote control, not needing to ask before i arrange to do something blah blah blah
