Re: How long have you owned your Thundercat
I had mine for 2 years from new and did 22,000 superb miles, 7 different countries. We had a great time together.
I've now got a 929 Blade which I had when it was 1 year old and about a 1000 miles on the clock. I've now had the Blade for almost 7 years and covered almost 35,000 miles and been to many different countries on it. Again, just an excellent bike.

Re: How long have you owned your Thundercat
nearly 5 years and 21,000 miles but feel it's time for a change, although everything's going to measured against the 'cat and it is a great bike

Re: How long have you owned your Thundercat
Mine's got just over 25k on the clock - it had just under 14 when i got it - didn't do much on it last year due to weather and the fact i now only have 14 miles each way to work rather than 44! hopefully get a few more on it this year - she lives inside of course and has her own cover and blanket!!!!!!!

Re: How long have you owned your Thundercat
No longer have a Thundercat, though I did have two different ones from new. A blue and white Californian American Racing Team colours import (had to have it re jetted) and a Black-Silver-Gold UK spec one.
Got T-Boned off the blue one and got the B-S-G one with the in-sewer-ants payout.
Had them both for two years a piece, and like TCB, did several different countries on them both and managed to rack up about 20,000 miles on each of them.
Moved off onto a Blade which I did a decent job of writing off in a head on with a 4x4. An accident in which not only did I come off second best, but third - fourth and very nearly fifth too.
They say if you fall off a horse, get back on and ride again. So got another Blade which served me well for another three years.
Sadly, folding myself up onto a sports bike now is to uncomfortable over a long distance or for to much time. So now I'm on a CBF1000 (just over a year now), which has the same BHP as a Cat, is equally as comfy as a Cat, but the torque and oomph of a de-tuned fireblade engine.
