Wee Mac 2012 - Tryout - Saturday 17th March
Hi All
Meeting at Yarrowford, Selkirk this Saturday 17th March (about 10am) for a tryout of a route (still to be set in stone)
DBD and BillyW are attending.
Anyone else care to join in?
Generally heading southwest then north then northeast then east then southeast (or something like that)
PM me if you might be interested and we can sort something out.
Cheers
Rosco
Forecast is fair(ish)

Re: Wee Mac 2012 - Tryout - Saturday 17th March
Had a good run today with BillyW and Rosco. Wee mac route is another cracker and wait until you lucky folks who are attending see the Accommodation!!
Usual fun and games with Rosco and his wildlife attracting abilities, well done to Billy for getting out of his sickbed to come along.
I had a little incident after I left Billy and Ross at Cumnock.
Heading down the bypass towards Irvine and the back end of the bike took a bit of a swerve to the left. Extreme butt clenching moment. Anyway to cut a long story short my chain adjuster inside the swing arm sheared and the back wheel wedged itself at a funny angle. Had to get bike recovered. Should be a cheap fix so Stevecat1 shall be back on the road soon!!

Echoing DBD's comments - the "digs" are awesome and the route is a wee belter.
Thanks to the pair of them for putting up with my slow progress.
The only blot on the landscape was the realisation that DBD was a pupil at the same school when I started my teaching career!!!! Now feel so so so so much older.
Cheers

Re: Wee Mac 2012 - Tryout - Saturday 17th March
Carlsberg don't do tryouts but if they did they'd have been hard pressed to beat that tryout.
Great day out chaps. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Most if the roads are in good nick and if you don't like twisties you'd better cancel now.
A bit of gravel and a couple of pot holes to be aware of enroute so your senses will need to be switched on.
These bits of bad roads take us to great roads so it's not all bad.
All we need now is similar weather on the run......fingers crossed.
Cheers

Re: Wee Mac 2012 - Tryout - Saturday 17th March
Forgot to say - I saw one B&Q thundercat when I we were out and about.
Left a business card and it turns out Genghis (an existing member) was the owner. Sorry we missed you Genghis.
I enjoyed it so much I even washed my bike when I got home.
Cheers

Clean!
And here was me going to bring some cleaning gear, just for his bike.
I'm sure a few of us would of nicked Ross's bike to give it a spring clean.
Just as a thank you.
