Game of Thrones

I can't find a board or stickied thread related to what we do most of the time (despite ourselves ).

Anyhoo,
I'm not big on keeping up with episodic TV shows unless they're pretty spectacular, but two belters have appeared in the wake of the launch of Sky Atlantic.

Boardwalk Empire (wow!) was the first, and just when you thought it couldn't get much better in relation to production values, story and attention to detail, along came Game of Thrones at $5million an episode.
Given it's strictly in the Fantasy genre, 10 episodes was a lot of risky shit to throw at the fan to see if it sticks.
..and stick it did.

Both great series, In my uni house we used to have Game of Thrones nights for when the new episode was released, was great fun

Boardwalk empire has a cracking cast and is very well made, I was expecting sopranos and it wasnt so felt disappointed with it too start with but it grew on me, looking forward to the new series of both these 2 now
