Ridin' again
Well after the Cat's (my) winter break (fair weather rider :lol3: ) went out for a 50+ miles jaunt with me mate.
Felt good with no mishaps but I did get cramp in my hip which I am putting down to age! Mot and a service next month, hopefully not much required as the bike does run good and is very responsive.
All being well should easily rack up more miles than last year. Shouldn't be difficult.
Happy and safe riding to all.

Re: Ridin' again
I took mine out for the post winter shakedown this morning.
The only thing wrong with it was the tyres being a few PSI down on optimal, apart from that, brilliant.

Re: Ridin' again
lol its just not for everyone, plus my cat is my main form of transport. I don't judge, a biker is a biker in my eyes (excluding mopeds)

Oh, here we go.
Ok, it's Scotland in the middle of winter where you have about 6 hours of daylight.
A job has just come in for a site in Thurso which is an 11 hour round trip, the forecast is for gale force winds, drifting snow and temps hitting around -20c ambient.
You don't know if it's a server or a switch issue and you have to carry one of each plus test equipment, cables etc.
Question: Do you take the bike or the car?
Southampton..pfft! Your winters are like our summers.

Re: Ridin' again
I was tempted to take the bike to Tain during the week, to give it a wee run.
Bloody glad I didn't. With one thing and another I was out from 07:30 till 20:00.
If I'd crashed and burned a mile from home after that, and they'd had to identfy me from the charred remains of my pelvis, they would have sworn I was a woman.
