Exotic Cats Empty Exotic Cats

Post  billyw Mon Feb 06 2012, 18:26

Hi - whilst I was scouring the internet looking for images of original coloured cats I kept coming across pics of unique paint jobs done by others. So I decided to gather a few of them together here. Apologies if your bike's here without your permission, or if I have missed it off!
Feel free to add your own ( I did come across an image of one covered in leopard spots, but now I can't find it)!

Yeah - I did notice that, however thought I'd keep it in as the idea of a pink cat amused!

The blue and white one middle left, looks like its covered in material rather than painted.
Like the one bottom right, red and white Yamaha colours, very nice.

Go to the YZF-USA site (link on the nav bar at top of page), navigate to the Garage. There you'll find 15 pages of pics of our American cousins rides.
Please, . . due to copyrights, don't link any of their pictures to this forum. Cheers Thumb

Stu - the blue and white one is covered in fur - seems to have been a bit of a fad at one time in the States.

very nice,is that a Chinese fairing?
if so what is the finish like.
I'm under the impression that the finish is poor.

Considering you get a full, and I mean full, set of plastics for £250 don't expect too much.

The finish is fair to good, the plastic is softer than OE, the fit isn't as exact and mine picked up a few marks on transit.

But with a bit of jiggery pokery you can make it all fit together.

Mine is a summer bike only, and I don't get as much as I would like so I'm not putting too many miles on them.

I think if you use your bike alot then they could start to look tatty soon.

I've still got my original plastics which are on good nick so I'm not worried.

Would I recommend them?

If you fancy change, why not. If you do track days it's a fairly cheap set of spare plastics.

To each, his own Tom. I love unique bikes.

It looks far and away better than home-made fairings!!!

"lots of time 500£ for parts to make it run like was runing before, and some fairings make by me.
