ThunderCat wanted!!!!

Sold my SV650 this morning, now on the hunt for a Thundercat!

Closer to Portsmouth the better, however willing to travel for the right bike at the right price.

My MAX Budget is going to be £1550 ( and will include getting me there to pick it up!so more likely £1.5k) That can/will not change. Obviously if i can spend less than that, all the better!

I have seen every Tcat on ebay/MCN/Biketrader etc , and am getting updates as and when new bikes are listed on those sites, so please dont just randomly link me to bikes in these places, because i will have seen them already!

Not fussed on year, lower the mileage the better, service history be good and preferably had the valves checked etc recently. Must be taxed and tested and in good condition.

Know of anything then give me a shout!

Harder to find these in the south so you will most likely have to travel unfortunately! But when you do get one, I am local to you

there are a few in portsmouth, pm me where abouts you are , and do what i did , when i brought mine , i saw the bike i wanted and worte a note and put it above the dash under the screen asking if they were intrested in selling the bike if so call me on *********** and i got a call and then got my baby , i know of atleast two in portsmouth and seen a 3rd about one on london road near the Green post pub , and one in southsea in wilton place, worth a shot in the dark

I have seen the one by the Green post but its never there when i pass by, have been trying for 2 weeks to track it down to ask if i can buy it! haha

Have never seen any others about yet, although i think a guy the next road up from me MAY have one... yet to track him down either!

Im too impatient to wait, ill keep looking this week, and i will have something by next weekend!

Now my SV is gone i have no transport, and i cant stand not being able to get out on a bike!

As gorgeous as that is, i wouldnt buy an Ace for 2 reasons.

1. Insurance - due to my history, my insurance is absolutely astronomical, took me a month of phoning specialist brokers and playing hardball before i could get the price for a Tcat down to a reasonable ( for me ) level.

2. Im probably not ready to jump onto a thou. Although i am a confident rider, i havent been riding long and i just wouldnt trust myself on a thou! The Tcat has all the capability i need and to be honest, im a corners man, and a thou offers me nothing in the twisties a 600 cant!

There was one on bike trader a 97R I think from Gants hill Essex he was flexible on the price but it had done 47k but only 1 owner. It was in silver and yellow. It was up for 1600 but as I said he was flexible. Hope it helps.
