Hello from Lincoln
Hi everyone,
I was guided to this site by one of your other members and I'm so pleased to have found it. Plenty of great information and friendly banter
I'm a novice biker and looking for buddies to get me back on the cat after a wee while off her due to her being poorly sick, she is still a work in progress, but hopefully she will be out in the sun soon.
I'm enjoying looking round the site, and I look forward to meeting up with some of you this year.
A happy and healthy New Year to you all,
Pippa Cat

Re: Hello from Lincoln
Hi Pippa and welcome to the forum,
Glad you like the look of the place. Hope you get the cat back to 100% in time for the next season.
I'm sure you'll have seen it in the Something for the Weekend section, but there is a group ride out in your area every year , the Taste of Lincolnshire (ToL), as well as others further afield if your up to 'em. It'd be great if you wanted to take part.
Cheers

Re: Hello from Lincoln
Hi and welcome PC.
I'm just up north in Hull and have ventured to Willingham Woods for a cuppa, there's also seaways on my side of the water that's not too far from you.
Just watch the "something for the weekend" posts.
Rich.

I understand it's £3 each way over the bridge for a car now Rich? How much is a bike?
Re: Hello from Lincoln
Well if the councils can sort it out, nowt.
But currently its £1.20 each way.

Re: Hello from Lincoln
Hi Pippa,
Welcome to the site. Glad you found us.
We will have to have a meet at Willingham sometime for all the locals - when the conditions improve.
But you don't have to wait for someone else to organise it. Post up if you're heading out and if others can make it I'm sure they'll let you know.
Cheers,
Chris

Improve. Bah. The conditions are and have been fine lately. Was on Yoda, my on Wednesday to work.
This wife needed the car! (btw is there a "under the thumb emoticon?)
Forecast for weekend is good, if a little windy. I could do with a ride out. My last one was on the 22nd December for a measly 2 hours.
Rich.
