In the current issue of Ride Magazine the Thundercat came 7th in '23 Best-Value Used Bikes in Britain Right Now' article.

Here the short write-up:

1996-1997 Yamaha Thundercat
Expect to pay: £800-£1250
What you get: A practical but sporty 600 with near-bulletproof engine, good handling and bags of comfort. 100bhp, 48lb.ft, 145mph.

Why it's a bargain: The Thundercat never did cut it in the fashion stakes, especially after Yamaha launched the R6. But it's one of the most underrated 600s of the modern era and an absolute bargain.
