Re: Christmas Toy Run
I'm borrowing a mate's car; I am between cars as our last lease car had to go back and the new car arrives in a few weeks. He's lent me an Evo 8 (!) as he's in China until January, but the car was near Swadlingcote, so I rode up, left my bike in his garage and brought the Evo home.

If it is an Evo, remember to give it some stick...

Left yourself open to plenty of comments there, but I am not going to dig myself a hole - LOL.
I'm going on one this Sunday. I have antlers and a big red nose for the bike. Will also get a cheepy Santa Suit. Did you have a hat? If so was it a proper one for helmets?
Just one other thing - Where are the PICs?????? Can't see any in here or mug shots - LOL
John.

:lol3: couldnt find a hat for me helmet well cool going on these runs - great day out!! I got my santa suit from Primark!! They do the all in one sleep suits (like adult babygrows!!) and the mens ones have a hood on which i think could be big enough to fit over ur helmet !!
I'm hoping to have some pics soon just cant seem to get them off the people who took them yet!!! Have fun on your ride - hopefully the weather will hold out!!

Thanks for the warning, didn't think of that. Thinking about it the suit may detract from my marshalling tabbard, but I think I'll have a go dressed up this year. At least when I am 'holding' traffic, they will know what it's all about! Have to figure a way of getting the hat stuck on the helmet.

How did you do them? I'm too lazy to try and figure it out. Also forgot the local Toy Run is this Saturday. I bought a santa suit off fleabay a couple of years ago and it is still in the packet. Hope it'll fit, I did buy a Santa sized one

Steve,
The pack is for a car (nose & Antlers). The antlers seem to have a sturdy white plastic center so was thinking cable tie to wing mirrors and go easy on the throttle. The nose - not sure yet, was going to figure on Saturday since mines not till Sunday.
Was thinking of maybe rubbing some candle wax on the seat to stop the Santa suit slipping like Bikerbird found out. If there are any better suggestions please throw them forward.

Re: Christmas Toy Run
What about wrapping some non slip matting around your seat? I always put it under my luggage to protect the paintwork.
If you look at my pic, I laminated pics of eyes and mouth and fixed the antlers to the mirrors. I used glue dots to stick everything on with.
