Re: Want some company!!!
Sorry, can't make tomorrow, but if you can get to St Crispin's School in Wokingham on Sunday at 9:00 or a bit before you can have a free assessment ride, tea and biccies and meet up with loads of other bikers (if it's a decent day maybe 200-300)
And no, we're not all BMW-riding, pipe-smoking beardies, just a great bike club!

Re: Want some company!!!
I'm planning on heading to The Black Rabbit in Arundle tomorrow.
Will have to see if I can actually get there, will be the longest ride I've done in over 2 months, just hope the shoulder will hold out

I actually made it there, thanks !! However when I got to the Black Rabbit looked like everyone else had the same idea, so did a U-turn and went up to Whiteways Cafe - which if you don't know is a biker meeting point and was less busy. The burger and chips weren't that nice but better than the coffee (Gastro pub meet biker burger joint!!)
The ride was very nice, decided to try some previously un-riden roads some being my absolute favourite - single lanes. White van man tried to take me out bombing along too fast (him not me), lucky for the low sun and long shadows which gave him away a second before he appeared around the corner
Not been out for that long since my off, so was very good indeed; set off around 11 and was home by 4:30. However I did feel pretty sore, but was fine by morning
Had another ride yesterday, decided the other 'Cat needed a day out too. It don't have the SatNav mount and all the parafinaila which connects to my helmet. This time it's riding from memory and sign boards. Was going well till I hit a closed road due to an accident, then it turned into go where I feel like going. Turn left and straight into fog :( thank goodness for Pinlock, but even it was having a hard time keeping the visor clear.
So instead of having Fish 'n' Chips in Rye Harbour I ended up having 'lunch' in ASDA at St Leonards on Sea Another get home when it's dark day.
I think I'm pleased I had the HID lit bike yesterday, seemed to make me more 'visible' in the fog. On the return ride up the A21, cars were moving over - which was very kind of them as it was slightly more congested than the usual bumper to bumper jam
Did you get out for a ride?
