Hello from Suffolk!
hi all,
I am a total newbie. Passed my test last weds, and just been out on my Thundercat - which was great fun.
this is my new toy, 1998 model. 5,900miles.
Shame the good'ish weathers on its way out..

Re: Hello from Suffolk!
Congratulations on passing the test and buying a brilliant bike.
13 years old and 5,900 miles = <500 miles a year (wow)
Enjoy

Re: Hello from Suffolk!
very nice, looks all original aswel , ie screen, exhaust and indicators are original, very low milage to , can i ask , how much did this set you back ?
i would say to get some crash bobbins on the engine mount , just incase , if the worst happens it may save a lot of money on plastics

Hi,
Welcome to the forum, congrats on the test and also on chosen the best bike in the world (if not the best colour scheme, still, can't have everything ) I'd definately endorse the crash bung suggestion!

Re: Hello from Suffolk!
At last, someone else from Suffolk .
Welcome along, as others have said some crash bungs, just in case. Bought some for mine (not in photo).Thankfully they haven't been called into action.
Hopefully may see you around.

Re: Hello from Suffolk!
Hi guys,
Shortly after that photo I ordered some bobbins which are on now The colour scheme is non-std, the lower fairing originally was orange along with the front mudguard (carbon effect).. I love the colours !
fingers crossed for a nice sat/sun this week!
