BMW 318Ti Compact Sport M - SOLD
Er, no, it's not a bike:
It's got to go by the end of the month, as I've now committed to a new (to me) car. But I've only been offered a stupidly low part-ex for it, and I'd really like it to go to a proper enthusiast rather than a back-street car lot.
Photo taken spring of last year but I've only added a couple of 1,000 miles since then.
2000 'W' Reg. 102,000(-ish) miles, full service history from new. MoT until end-March.
Owned by me for the last 6+ years and 40,000 miles, before that by my next door neighbour and before that (from new) by a partner in his brother's law practice.
Good Conti SportContact tyres (as originally fitted), recent exhaust and discs and pads all round, plus a new windscreen earlier this year (the old one was chipped beyond repair).
As it's the M-spec sports model it has a few extra bits on it like the spoiler, side skirts and fatter wheels, plus sportier suspension (it really does stick like the proverbial) - and the odd 'M' badge for street cred. I've actually never seen another one quite like it, so it has a degree of exclusivity. But the engine is the standard 1895 4-cylinder putting out 110 Kw, so it goes well enough without being silly money to insure, and I still get high-30's mpg (8-9 miles per litre). And being a 3-door hatch it's a darn sight more practical than most BM's.
It has to be the bargain of the year at £850. Or might consider a bike in part-ex, small cash adjustment either way.
Located S.W. Oxon.
