Re: What about...???
Fun idea
Give 'em (buffwear) a call and find out how much it'd be for the buffs. You know the site addy and the t-shirt design (if that's what people like).
At the very least the web addy and the :yzf: and *yamaha logo* (*copy rights issue !!)
That would give you a starting point and a ball park figure for a run of between 25 and 250 as per their ad.
Inital outlay is going to be the sticking point, I would suggest, as the run wil have to be paid for up front.
Costs only being recovered by sales of the product to members after receipt (by you) and send on delivery to orderers (plus P&P).
Size should not be an issue as one size fits all with buffs. As for colour . . . I'd suggest any colour you like as long as it's . . . . . . . (you choose buff & print colour) . . . . . . . otherwise you run the possible risk of being bogged under with colour choice . . errr . . . "discussions" . . . .
To answer your question . . . yes I'd have a couple . . . (as long as they're not pink).

Re: What about...???
My friend is on another site (can't remember which one could be GB Bikers?) and they have them - i seem to remember him saying they came in pairs and weren't too expensive and they were decent quality. Or going on from that how about (numberplate) stickers.

Re: What about...???
I have no idea as to whether or not it's legal - I don't know if it's an actual sticker for a numberplate it probably isn't it's just a very thin small sticker with the web address on which he has put along the bottom of his number plate - it's just been through an mot anyway - if fi's about maybe she can tell us if she swaps her plate over at mot timerobertcains wrote:Is this legal? I do now as I happened to be at the testing station when a chap came in on his monster for an mot and was promptly advised to change his number plate first because it was an immediate fail - he thought he'd be ok because even tho the plate was smaller than it should be the letters looked the right size. Anyway I asked the tester and he said you can have a sticker or message etc on your number plate provided that it is thin enough to sit along the bottom of it without obscuring the VRN in any way it doesn't have to be the manufacturers name it can be anything altho he did suggest it may be best to steer clear of anti plod slogans lol. So we can have our stickers if we want
And in case you're interested your number plate has to be the correct size as do the letters which must be plain black (monster man would've failed anyway as he had carbon fibre effect letters tho lucky for him they do numberplates to so it only cost him extra £14 and a trip home for his v5!) on yellow unless of course you have a really really old bike like me Barnet .

I think the way an MOT tester is governed as to what he can pass or fail would be different to what Mr Plod can take issue with.
Any new plate supplied in recent years has to have the suppliers name & contact (i.e postcode or web) & they have to hold records for three years to avoid ringing, Its all a load of rubbish really as you can freely buy plates online for 'show use' but the law is the law even though the law is an ass

Re: What about...???
Having done a quick anorak type google thingy on the subject it appears the supplier only has to be listed on any plate made after 2001 but that for legal purposes all stickers & 'add ons' that deface the plate in any way can fail the MOT at the testers discression, same applies to Plod I guess?
Another grey area that will get you a ticket depending if Mr Plod had a barney with Mrs Plod over burnt toast at the brekkie table

Re: What about...???
I had a mate that had 'Kawa-Fu**ing-saki' on his plate and was fined £30 on the spot.
