John's Cat.
Thought it time I joined in and introduced my Cat. Except for the change of Screen to smoked she is standard. I have got a smoke LED brake light on order and am considering a Beowulf exhaust in Titanium, I think the blue in the Titanium will match well.
This is my daughter Abi.
And this is me:

It was a bold move but seems to work. Would be nice to see it in the flesh sometime.
Funds are short now with separation, buying a house and now a bike so may be a year before I can get into any major customisations. I started to take the fairings apart to get to the front indicators as there some play but gave up before getting even one panel off. Reminds me I need to buy a stubby Phillips to get to the screws above the front mud guard.

Re: John's Cat.
The indicators wobble as standard - they're not loose. Same goes for the rear light. If you want to stop it you'll need some kind of shim.

Nice bike John.
You might need another one soon as your daughter seems to have her eye on that one.

Re: John's Cat.
Excellent pictures of the bike
Always nice to see someone's pride and joy. And the bike's pretty smart too!
The look is - 'You're gonna have to prise this from my cold dead hands!' I bet she rides faster too, she's at least twisting the throttle!

Yeah it isn't, well on a bike anyway. Looking forward to riding with others, the 1800miles I have done on my Cat since passing my test on 01/06 has all bin on my own.
I will not have my daughter this coming weekend so will be looking to see if there are any rideouts.

Re: John's Cat.
Nice bike, exactly like mine apart from the shiny screws (all round better condition) and the can.
I have a Remus job on mine that appears to be rare as rocking horse shit.
(This is the only example of it I can find on the net)
http://www.superbikeforums.co.uk/index.php?topic=45137.0
I've put about 30,000 on mine since I bought it six years ago and most of that has been on my Jack Jones as well.
(I generally fill the tank and follow my nose.)
I found this road today on an experiment to see if there was a way to go in roughly a straight line between my house and Blair Drummond.

(I didn't take the pic..I forgot my camera)

Re: John's Cat.
I like the twin pipes haven't seen anyone doing those.
It would be nice to get on a road like that.

Re: John's Cat.
Hi John,
it was nice to meet you.
mmm, car reported Min. oil like on the way up so had to nurse to a petrol station again, cost me 36 quid in oil - 2litres in total. The car hasn't done it since - it must not like going too far North!
Fitted the exhaust that night but didn't get to ride till last night. Still a good sound and very similar to mine. Very happy thanks. Had to ride home in the dark from some friends that night and got a shock when I left the street lights - I couldn't see the road!!! No headlight (dip or full), only side light!
Lets all guess what the the problem was? Some clues:
recently fitted some flush mount indicators.
recently fitted some new mirrors with LED indicators.
Headlight Bulb was a New 50% brighter bulb.
John.

Full Marks Steve.
Took me a little while on the roadside in the dark, but I managed to do it by feel alone. Only then did someone stop and ask If I was OK.

I've been waiting for that comment Rosco. Especially with the Numpty point frenzie that's been going on.
