oooo i been a busy girl!

my bikes been inspected. beyond economical repair. got cash in lieu of repairs so not written off, just accepted a cash offer.

i havent decided what im going to do about repairs yet but i done a few bits so i can ride it. Now its been inspected i can put my number plate on so i did (plate docs came thru after i'd reported the crash on old reg number). The needed some holes drilling etc, exhaust had a rivet loose so i done that. The bike wouldnt start - soooo i fixed the optimiser thingys to the battery, put some fuel in out of can. still nothing - then i used my noggin and realised that when replacing the shocker lately my fella turned off the petrol and hadnt turned it on again. off came the tank again and in i went. checked tyres and went for a small spin.

BF not feeling too well and i think he's impressed i didnt call him out of the house to do these small jobs! in fact i know its not much but i impress myself sometimes! (had a few practice rivets in the garage tho just in case!)

Well done emma nice work. Insurance assessor is coming to look at mine tomorrow afternoon.

Hope it goes ok. I will be glad when i get my excess back tho
