Born again
Well, I've gone and done it (mid life crisis or what) bought a 2003 Thundercat last month, the first bike I've rode (or hung on to) in over 25 years. Its a bit different than the kwacker I last had to say the least, but after the 30 mile ride home everything came back and it only seemed like yesterday since I last rode. Been taking it easy for the first month, but jeez its a vicious... and beautiful beast at the same time. Still haven't mastered slow cornering yet (can you get stabilisers :lol3:)but I'll get there. Haven't seen another yet so presuming they're quite rare, at least in Somerset. Completety forgot about the friendliness between bikers and wondered why most were nodding/waving/flashing lights (did I look that much a novice) and then realised why.

Re: Born again
Hi there, welcome.
It'll all come back. I had many years of little or no riding, bike just sat there unused most of the time.
Change of country and bought the 'Cat. Did seem strange at first (at times almost terrifying), getting used to the bike and how people drive here.
A few weeks later and I went on a Bike Safe day, brilliant and well worth it. Some things have changed in a quarter century, also a good time not to remember the bad habits!
Welcome again, and enjoy
